GEZA DEMETER
Staff Groundwater Geologist
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Major areas of groundwater work for Mr. Demeter have included field monitoring and technical report writing for siting, geologic log analysis, design, construction, and testing of new municipal-supply and irrigation-supply water wells and groundwater monitoring wells. Mr. Demeter has also provided field monitoring and technical report writing for well rehabilitation projects. These efforts have included numerous wells within southern and central California. Areas of additional responsibility for Mr. Demeter include electronic data management and analysis, and manipulation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to evaluate hydrogeologic conditions. In addition, Mr. Demeter reviews and assists with Low-Impact Development (LID) requests for new development and redevelopment construction projects within the groundwater basins that comprise the Upper Los Angeles River Area (ULARA).
Prior work included soil and groundwater assessment and remediation for various industrial and retail petroleum facilities throughout California and Arizona. Other work included development and implementation of storm water pollution prevention plans for numerous industrial facilities and construction projects in California and Arizona.
