PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Major areas of groundwater work for Mr. LeBeau include managing projects for municipal and irrigation-supply water wells in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. His responsibilities include: office services; field monitoring during well construction or rehabilitation; geologic logging of pilot boreholes; evaluation and interpretation of field data; and conducting well siting and feasibility studies. This also includes office and field services for the destruction of abandoned water-supply wells. Areas of additional responsibility include writing technical reports for clients, electronic data management and analysis, and the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to help evaluate hydrogeologic conditions.

As a Staff Geologist, Mr. LeBeau worked on the Exide Residential Clean-Up Project and supervised five worksites and a total of thirty field personnel. He was also in charge of: ensuring compliance with local and State permit requirements and safety regulations; and compiled and submitted documents to the State at the conclusion of work contracts.

As a Staff Geologist, Mr. LeBeau has interpreted and prepared site plans, spreadsheets, figures, and reports; created cost estimates and executed field investigations; he has analyzed slope stability of natural and engineered slopes using Slide 2018. He routinely engaged with clients and subcontractors. He investigated and analyzed a site for the feasibility of constructing water tanks for reclaimed water for the Santa Clarita Valley Water Authority; and managed the documentation of a soils compaction testing for a large residential development in Camarillo, California.

As a Field Mapping Technician, Mr. LeBeau operated a Trimble SPS855 base station, and an SCS930 controller and rover. He digitized grading site plans for modeling and analysis.

As an Instructional Student Assistant, Mr. LeBeau created petrographic thin sections for classes and graduate research purposes; counseled new geology majors in scheduling classes; and evaluated and graded student projects for introductory field methods, optical minerology, earth sciences, and natural disasters.
